Sabbath Morning Prayer

from the great Apostle, Paul —

Father,

We kneel before you this morning—from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.

I pray that you may grant us, according to the riches of your glory, to be strengthened with power in our inner being through your Spirit, and that the Messiah may dwell in our hearts through faith.

I pray that we, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, and height and depth of your love, and to know the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that we may be filled with all your fullness.

And now to you—who are able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to you be glory in the church and in the Messiah, Jesus, to all generations, forever and ever.

Yes, and very amen, in Jesus’ name.
