Though God Kill Me

The Suffering of Job

A stunning statement.

I’m in a season of reading the wisdom literature in the Scriptures.

Proverbs, Psalms, and Job.

As I came upon Job’s answer to the accusations of a friend in Job 13, this passage smacked me in the face again:

Even if God kills me, I will hope in him.

Huh.

I mean, just ponder that sentence for a bit.

Pretty stunning, isn’t it?

I don’t have any additional words for you in response, but I do have a song. Please take about six minutes and let its Biblical truth wash over you.

I love you, dear reader.
