“In Awe of Your Words”

“Princes persecute me without cause, But my heart stands in awe of Your words.” Psalm 119:161

There are some who think they can turn the words of God into the cozy and commonplace and use them as household items in a kind of kitchen religion. The true listener, aware of the God of creation who turned back the waters and exploded Gomorrah, stands in awe of their power and majesty.
